halcyon days

Your Material Sphere consists of Strength, the 5 of Cups, and The Chariot.

You are a both the creature and the leash. at your core, there's is a powerful animal driven by instinct and a handler that directs the beast. Ideally, this means you are able to sublimate your more destructive impulses into positive action or creative output but it took time to learn this control and you've lost out on some things as a result. Things that hurt rather acutely, a pain than lingers even as you tend to what you have gained. As a result of the lingering, however, you have the experience and (with a little exertion of will) you can tame the beast and within, grip it firmly, and point it in a useful direction yet it pulls hard on the reins and you can struggle to hold it down.

Your Immaterial Sphere consists of the King of Swords, The Fool, and the 5 of Wands

The King of Swords represents a focal point. As we discussed with Strength, you are a creature in need of guiding and the King shows us how: the head must lead the heart. The king demands decisive action and cuts through the fog with his sword, letting light in. Importantly, he does not *control* the heart but rather listens and weighs the options, makes a decision that leads to where the heart wants. Before now, maybe even currently, your approach to this control was naive, that you followed that pull blindly and it led to the losses hinted at by the five of cups despite also bringing you forward, toward your goals. the reason that it's so easy to follow the impulse is that you derive strength from these sort of impassioned environments that come from following the heart with full intent. the King of swords with 5 wands is someone who loves to defend an argument. or at least finds some satisfaction from it.

to bring all of this together,

you find yourself at a threshold. your head and heart are well matched with each other right now, your desires and your knowledge on how to enact them are in harmony but perhaps only recently. it might not be something you can see necessarily but the past is not a burden to you right now. it is what has shown you the way forward, you know how to listen to yourself, you just have to do it and you have to not be afraid of the consequences when you do.

The important thing to remember is that the Fool does not linger on the sadness. She moves on to replace what was lost, she stepped off the cliff while looking at stars and the mistake was not "dreaming," it was "not thinking." it's important to remember that the feeling of conflict, the kind stoked by the fires of passion, can be frightening to navigate but the chariot powers forward regardless, it even draws strength from the tension in competition and disagreement. for someone like a strength focused king of swords, that can be internal conflict as you try to balance the needs of The Head and The Heart or it could be external in the way that you push and pull against others. either way, should conflict find its way on your path, do not linger on the consequences of it but instead keep moving through it.

Your pearl was thick walled. As a hole formed in the shell, it sighed and pushed out. Despite the thickness, it melted away quickly, joining the mixture of past souls who also sought guidance. Thank you for letting me perform a reading for you and offering up a pearl in your honor.
